My friend, who is a very talented woodworker, has a chance to do something he is very passionate about. Sign painting. Sign painting is very popular in his homeland, England.
The quality of his work is exceptional. An interesting part of his story is the wood he does his painting on were from old long standing barns in rural Manitoba. He took the barns down by hand and salvaged as much of the old boards as possible. The history of the boards alone is impressive but when "The English Painter", touches brush to barn board it's simply one of a kind. I want to be very clear, each sign is hand painted. No copying machine, all by hand.
I am searching for some cool golf dialogue and pictures that will be of interest to many. Content will mainly be focused on the entire hickory era. However, if you have something you would like turned into this type of art, you can send me a file and I will pass it on to The English Painter.
