Fun Stuff
There's a great book out there that every golf fan will enjoy, it's called Claret Dreams, by Tim Alpaugh.
Tim is a good friend of mine and has a wonderful story to tell. Historical accuracies blended with a fictional tale will have you racing to the final page.
I probably don't read as much as I should, but this book has inspired me to open a book more often. It was during a power outage in the evening, pitch black in the house I put on a flashlight and read. The power was out for more than an hour. When it came back on and my TV and internet were now an option I passed them over to continue reading.
Claret Dreams is a very comfortable read. The story moves along nicely and doesn't "bog down". Much like hitting a golf ball with the wind at your back.
