Niakwa 2013

On July 20, 2013 I had the privilege to bring the hickories out to Niakwa Golf and Country Club.  For a change, the weather was on our side and everyone who participated enjoyed their one hole with the old clubs.  The 18th hole at Niakwa was the stage, and everyone had the opportunity to play the hole tee to green with the hickory clubs and gutta percha balls.
There were a lot of great shots made and some very good interaction with the members.

Many thanks to the Wade, Terry and Mike for all their efforts that day.  A special thank you to Terry, who was mainly in charge of returning clubs and balls to the tee once the hole was completed.  He also did a great job fitting the members with clubs to hit as well as giving them some "hickory hints".  There were others who pitched in that day and to them my thanks.
