Oak Long Nose Spoons and Putters

Here are some oak hickories currently being built.  I'm giving oak a try knowing the face will handle the guttie better than beech.  As for the overall strength of the club, we will only know when they are put through the hit test.

April, 2019.  With continued testing, I have determined the white oak I used was too soft for play with gutty.  The hard gutty left dents on the face.
